Helibike 3 days pack Patagonia

3-day Helibike experience in the beautiful mountains of Chilean Patagonia, assisted with Helicopters to go where no one else can and from those beautiful peaks launch into the mountainbike adventure, everything from the beautiful Barraco Lodge as the base of operations is an experience premium.

-Day 0 Puerto Montt beginning of the adventure in Patagonia

At the Tepual airport in Puerto Montt, a helicopter awaits us to fly to the Barraco Lodge on Lake Tagua Tagua, everyone and equipment up and flying, after a 30-minute flight along the coast and overflying the Alerce Andino National Park we arrive at the Barraco Lodge where they will wait for us with a great dinner to charge energy.

-Day 1 Patagonia Helibike

After a good rest at the Lodge, we left our helipad carrying our bicycles. After a 20-minute flight across Lake Tagua Tagua and the dunes of Río Puelo, we then land in the picturesque town of Frio. We start pedaling from the town, where we pass the rustic entrance walkway to the north side of the Río Frio. The trail takes us through a native forest that allows us to see the crystal clear waters of Río Frio. We arrive at the Manso River crossing a bridge to continue until we reach the eastern bank of the Manso River, where the helicopter and our food await us. The return flight passes through La Junta and the Tagua Tagua Park Waterfall.

-Day 2 Patagonia Helibike

We leave the Lodge in our helicopter with the guide. The flight takes 30 minutes to the Ventisquero River, a tributary of the Puelo River. The river has a path that runs for 10 kilometers following the northwest bank, passing through a native forest, with many coihues, ulmos, and myrtle trees. The trail crosses shallow streams on our way and runs along the banks of the Puelo, allowing us to admire the turquoise sedimentary waters of the Toro Glacier. The trail is almost flat and nice. Downriver we can continue, if you wish, to the banks of the Puelo River for another 10 kilometers. The helicopter will be waiting for us at the end with a healthy snack on the spot.

-Day 3 Activity of your choice

After a couple of days of good Mountain biking, you may prefer to do other activities or maybe more helibike, there is much to see in the area, below is the list of activities available for this day:
